Whit Colvin, in fifteen short years of practice, has managed
to build a practice in complex, specialized areas—land use,
desegregation, federal regulatory and statutory law (such as the
Fair Labor Standards Act), education finance issues, No Child
Left Behind Act, and related areas. He has represented the State
of Alabama in its efforts to satisfy its statewide desegregation
obligations and local boards in similar efforts, as well as the
University of Montevallo in its higher education desegregation
case. He is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, one of the Rising
Stars of the Birmingham Bar, and a Super Lawyers "Rising Star."
